I would say that possibly Manuel could run a better hotel ....it seems as though there is no true boss.....everyone at the Ada has a bit of attitude and gives off to the customers.....from the reception staff who announce on our arrival that the floor we are staying on is out of order....to the waitress who shuts the breakfast bar... Indeed reception is tiny and there are some steps to climb which is not ideal when carrying a suitcase, however it is the most charming hotel. Very nice and clean rooms and the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel, including national products and fresh orange juice. Very friendly staff too. Shame that internet connection is fairly expensive and... More

The Hotel was a little dissapointing and I would like to share exactly why. It really is not a Hotel at all in my eyes rather someones residence that has been turned into rooms to stay in. Firstly there is no lobby and the front desk isnt even as big as the desk in the rooms. The really most annoying... More

When we booked this Hotel in Madrid via Travel Agent, we thought it was ideal place in the center of Madrid. We were disappointed at first sight. With a family of 6 and lot of luggages, no one came to help us at the doorstep. Moreover, the reception is very very small and we had to climb the 6/7 steps... More

We had a fabulous 5 night stay in Madrid. Considering the price, the hotel is very well located, near Sol and many attractions of Madrid . The staff are fair, they offered us an i-pad for 24 hours free of charge with internet access all over the city which was a very good facility. Also the rooms are clear enough,... More

Though it says it is in Gran Via, it is not that convenient at all. Just a Starbucks nearby and you need to be very understand the area or you cannot find restaurant, shops...alike. Some strange people stay late night nearby hotel area which made me uneasy. Room is OK when you know you cannot expect too much in this... More

ADA is one of my regular places to stay in Madrid. As others have mentionned there are two main motivations to stay here. Locations and quality / price ratio. Location is perfect for several reasons. there are Metro stops a few meters away from the Hotel = "Banco Espana" or "Gran via". Here you are in walking distance of many... More

My room was spotless, and prettily decorated, though very very traditional. The lobby and lift areas are lilliputian, but the rooms and the breakfast situation were very good. My bathroom was white marble and pleasantly lit. Every toiletry I needed was provided. The staff was not only helpful but extremely friendly. We spoke in mixed Spanish English. Breakfast was very,... A very good hotel. Perfect location in Madrid center, at the beginning of Gran Via, few minutes from the airport shuttle stop (Plaza Cibeles). The staff was very professional and kind. The room was not so large, but with all the facilities for a perfect staying. Quite and clean. Only a remark about the centralized heating... for me too high... More

Locarion is great - central and easily accessible. But it's all why is good Bout this hotel. Some staff is not helpful ( we asked for a converter, had been told by one person that they don't have converters at all, next day another person at reception found us a converter), Internet rate is outrageously expensive, and no other than...
