OK, you pay some 50% extra to stay in Gibraltar compared to Spain. Governors Inn is cheaper than its competitors. Rooms are clean (except sofas look rather second hand), bathroom is very good. Owner Clive is very friendly and can give good advice. Fridge and washing machine were top condition, but some of the kitchenware were rather bad. There were... More

“Clean Cheap and Basic”

For a long weekend these apartments are fine. They are cheap, clean and centrally located. Ideal for a stag or hen weekend. Ideal as a base for a family. Kitchen had a clean cooker, microwave, washing machine. Bathroom had a bath and shower again very clean. The apartments are located about 5 minutes from the main shopping streets. More

Stayed there for 2 nights in August 2005. The appartments are 3 flats above an internet cafe/printing firm. There is one on each floor and we had the unfortunate "pleasure" of having the top one. Not a bad place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. It is very near the town and buses although the streets are a little narrow and traffic is quite heavy.
