Travel is a big part of my job, so staying in hotel suites is not new to me. Dreading my next assignment location, it was a blessing to find the hotel to have a super friendly staff, very clean, comfortable bed, roomy living area and kitchen, and their standard practice to be very accommodating. Have been here several months with... More

I have stayed at the Reyes Catolicos (in Spanish) many times, and each time I enjoy it more. It is very pricey, for sure, but not compared a good hotel in New York, for instance. And how often do you get to stay in the world's oldest continually-run hostelry, built by Ferdinand and Isabella for pilgrims and located in the... More

One of the top Paradors, priced to suit! Service is excellent. Your car is driven to and parked in their underground car park by one of the bell-boys, who also carry your cases to your room. Breakfast is average, but does include fresh orange juice. There are information panels on the walls of the building explaining various aspects of the... More

We stayed here 2 nights in May at the end of our Camino. It is truly a grand hotel, steeped in history. It used to be a hospital for pilgrims. We were given a guided tour by Esperanza which was very informative. The building is huge and magnificent. It was nice walking around to explore the different rooms. The corridors... More

This is a magnificent hotel ,packed with history which is well interpreted for visitors. We stayed in a junior suite, which consisted of three rooms; siting, bed and bathroom. There rooms were adequate and clean, but the furnishings were worn. WIFI worked well despite the massive building. The main problem was heating; well provided with radiators, but they produced almost... More

I stayed at your facility this past weekend with the Knights of Peter Claver group and I must confess I was impressed. I checked in a little after noon and the two young ladies at the desk were wonderful I had my luggage taken up to my room and the young lady who did it was super pleasant. In the... More

Stayed here in a king suite with wooden floor in living area. Very clean and nicely furnished . The bedroom was actually in a separate room which was very nice when I got up in the middle of the night. Didn't disrupt the sleeping wife. Staff were all very friendly, Breakfast was a step up from others buffets we have... More

The Parador is very comfortable with an amazing breakfast but the highlight is the chance to wander around a piece of history. The location is central to the City. Our room was comfortably renovated and easy to find after we figured out the arrangement of the hotel.

From the moment of our arrival our three days in Santiago were made comfortable and restful by the facilities at this centrally located hotel. Not only is this a most beautiful building but it also has knowledgeable and friendly staff able to advise about tourist facilities as well as directing guess to great restaurants and cafes. I suggest that the... More

Having stayed at other 4 and 5 star Paradors before I did expect a certain level of historical ambiance and luxury. However, this hotel left me speechless. At registration I was handed a map of the parador which consists of 4 huge cloisters. It took me almost 2 hours to follow and read all the different historical plaques (in English... More
