We stayed at Hotel Santa Clara for two nights last summer. Everything was great, the room was modern, comfortable and everything was very clean. The food at breakfast was good but the best part was the cute sitting area which overlooked a big koi pond. The location is good, there is a grocery store nearby and it's an easy walk... More

We stayed in Hotel Santa Clara after 8 days on the Camino, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The hotel is modern looking and clean with nice a sitting area for breakfast (which was very good!). We had shipped some clothes from Madrid (to not carry on the walk with us), and they were waiting for... More

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was with its simple modern decor and very friendly staff. The location was wonderful, a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and even closer to the rest of the old town. Breakfast was good....wonderful coffee! We were in a room on the second floor with two great windows that opened and overlooked the fish... More

This hotel is quite easy to find once you arrive to Santiago and its very well located to all the attractions that the city offers. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The breakfast were generous and with several options. The staff was very helpful and enjoyed taking time with you to provide information about Santiago. Overall a very good... More

We stayed at Santa Clara Hotel for 3 nights in June, on our first visit to Santiago, with our 15 month old daughter. We were very pleased to find out there were only seven rooms, giving the hotel a family touch. We liked the way the room was decorated, modern and sober ; despite giving onto the road, it was... We stayed at the Santa Clara after hiking on the Camino de Compostela. We had no reservations, being unsure how long our hike would take. We (two couples) were really happy to find that lovely, modern, spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds were available. Our rooms were spotlessly clean. Everyone on the staff went out of their way to be... More

I had an excellent experience with this hotel. After a month on the camino it was so good to enjoy such friendly hospitality in such a nice property. The staff went out of their way to help me for instance when I needed to stay an extra night but they were full Patrizia phoned a dozen other hotels to find... More

Stayed there for one night (alone; 55 Euros) and expected a typical pilgrim's hostel. However, I was more than surprised to find superclean rooms (wooden floor, enough space, spacious bathroom) and superfriendly staff (fluent in English and German). Btw, the owners grew up in Germany. The location (a bit outside - 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral) is perfect, because... More

Newly renovated hotel (kind of modern minimalist style), close to the city center (about 5-10 minutes on foot). Very clean. The woman in charge of the hotel is very very nice and kind. Highly recommended!
