I booked this hotel during Easter and got excellent value through Hotwire. The hotel is very good and the rooms are great.
The only problems were that
1. It is a little far from the city though reasonably close to the underground metro.
2. If you land late at night it is difficult to find after getting off the Metro....

My friend and I travelled to Barcelona for a girly weekend last year and stayed at the Hesperia Sarria Hotel.
We booked on expedia and got a really good deal.
Hotel is in lovely resdiential area of Barcelona and about 10 mins on underground from Las Ramblas.
The rooms were very modern, we had a nice view and the reception...
