Apt. Balmes is a great way to stay in the downtown core on a budget, but it would have been nice to have a working water heater while we were there. its very nice apartment in the heart of city ..u can walk to most tourist destinations by walking ...u wont regret staying there...its bit noisy coz its so close to street but that wasnt problem for us...i ll stay there again if i go to barcelona again...

Brilliant location, great price. We used the kitchen to cook meals in and it was clean, modern and fantastic. You may need ear plugs to get to sleep though as the place is right near a busy street and despite the fact that there is sound-proof windows, we can still hear the street.
