A very friendly small hotel with good sized rooms. we had a double room on the first floor, and it was very clean and well presented. 24 hour reception, and a good cold buffet breakfast (7.30-10.30M-F. 8-11S-S - allows for the odd lazy mornings). I have just spent 5 days in Barcelona (June 2006) and stayed in Hotel Aristol. I thought it was brilliant value for money. It was extremely clean, the room had everything you could need, the staff were helpful and the hotel was lovely and quiet at night because it wasn't in the city centre. I didn't find this a problem... more

It was pretty far away from the centre of Barcelona, although very close to the metro. It was clean and friendly with comfortable rooms, although being right on the corner of a roundabout was a bit noisy. Overall, decent value for money - but not great. more
