The first impression wasn't the best. The room was not ready upon our arrival which was after check in time, luckly we could leave our bags in storage. After coming back to the room, it had a strong cigarette smell, but complaints to reception did not really change anything, as the toilet paper was covering fire detector, which did not...

Bed Bugs!!!! I was bitten all over my body. 8 bites on my right hand alone!!!
Do not waste your money here!!! The staff is incredibly rude.
We woke up to bed bugs in the middle of the night. Luis, the night receptionist, was not alarmed and not even apologetic. He didn't seem the least bit shocked. He moved us...

If you want to avoid the noise, filth and trashy people who tend to populate the centre of Barcelona on weekend nights (easyjet and ryanair hen and stag parties) then this is an ok location. Not the most central location but convenient due to very short distance from metro station.
Bathrobe and other stuff you expect to find in the room were not there but provided upon request. Cigarette burn marks on the furniture and bathromm (smoking room).
Expected better for the paid price.

The fridge did not work, the hairdryer did no work and there were no English channels on the TV although the hotel manual said...

Staged 1 Night on a business trip. No problems at all. Nice and clean with good service and modern interior decoration. Quiet too. For vacation you are only a 10 minute walk from the cathedral Sagrada Familia but may find the old city centre a bit far.

The hotel is very easy to find, as you come out of metro "alfonso X" just walk down the street until you come to it maybe 5minutes later on your left,
Right next to the un finished cathedral in Sagrada Familia which is breathtaking, about a 40minute walk to the beach or 30minute walk to la ramblas, both walks are...

We booked this hotel for the weekend with my girlfriend.
The first night was terrible, as they just put 2 single beds next to each other and say it's a double room. And when you complain, they just explain that the real double bedroom are subject to availability. But we booked a double room.
After complaining, we had a double...
