Clean basis hotel. Prob not quite 4 star but we found hotel clean comfortable and very handily located. La Rambla 10 minute walk. Metro 10 sec walk. Breakfasts not as good as they used to be, but plenty to eat and drink if you're not expecting full English. Eggs and streaky bacon or sausages every day

Tryp Apolo lies perfekt for you how wishes to explore the Rambla, the beach/harbour area or Montjuic, and with metrostation outside the front door you can go fast to the rest of town. We stayed here for 3 nights. Ryan at reception was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed at the hotel on arrival and throughout our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, the facilities were good and the location was great - just 10 mins max to La Rambla. We absolutely would stay here again.

The reception service was very good. Many of the staff spoke english and provided us with local information and suggestions. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was pretty good and included with the stay. The location is close to port with lots of restaurants and shopping and also close to La Rambla which has great restaurants and shopping.

We found this hotel very accommadating, very helpful, always willing to oblige. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend Tryp Apolo to anyone.
