3 nights in the end of april 2012 for an italian couple ready to visit Barcelona. Perfect: cleanness, receptionist courtesy, Nestlè coffe for free, location (near to Sagrada Familia and Metro station), wifi included and efficient. Could be improved: no fridge in the room, reception no speaking english. Price in line with the market. Particularity: payment at the arrival. More

I have to say, the staff named "Kirsi" was extremely helpful. We only stayed there for 2 nights and she helped us by sharing info on how we can maximize our time in Barcelona. She even drew an outline on the map putting bus numbers, nearest metro. Exceptional work! The hotel was neat and nice. I have to say, WiFi... More

After my plan to stay with a friend fell through at the last minute, I wound up staying at the Hostemplo. Very lucky. It was during a big conference and every room in town was booked or the prices were well into the 200-300 euro level, something my budget could not accomodate. I jumped on Kayak to search and was... We stayed there for 5 nights in room 16 on the first floor. The room was extremely clean, rather small but functional. The bathroom doesn't have a proper door, it's only a glass door that leaves little to imagination regarding the actions of the person inside. If you are traveling as a newly dating couple (or not a couple at... More

We stayed here for 7 nights in room 26 on the second floor. The location is not bad, just two blocks away from the wonderful Sagrada Familia and with good Subway connection to the city center. The rooms are small but functional and very clean. The beds are OK and we had a good sleep most nights. Some traffic noise... More

Hello, I'm glad you had a pleasant stay in Hostemplo. I understand that the wifi is very important for you and for many people. Indeed when you stay in Hostemplo, the wifi worked not very well. The reason is that we in this period was changing telephone company and the adjustments were not very fast. Now the settings are made... More

The hostal is located very close the Familia Sagrada but pretty far from the other main parts of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk or a short metro ride. Wish we stayed closer to town. When we arrived in the middle of the day, the door wouldn't open and the bell didn't work. We had to stand there... More

Even staying in the ground floor, we do not had problems neither with reception nor street noises. The room is very well decorated, new and clean. The bathroom is very nice also. It's located near the Sagrada Familia (10 min walking), with lots of shops, restaurants and metro station. Besidestelling in the site that there is a breakfast, it is... More

Whilst it is not in the heart of Barcelona this hotel is round the corner from Sagrada Familia and near the railway staion. It is beautifully maintained, clean and functional. We were surprised by the large size of our room considering this was the budget accommodation. Downside was the lack of quality restaurants in the local area and staff did... More

We had requested 3 singles but on arrival on the 7th October, we had a double and a twin. The woman on reception phoned the boss and they arranged an extra bed straight away from another hotel as all of the rooms were full. When I called back to the room to collect something, the receptionist called me over and... More

My boyfriend and I booked Hostemplo for a 6 night stay. The rooms were modern, and very clean. The housekeeping staff mopped the hardwood floors daily, and the room was generally spotless. We found that the thick windows did a superb job of keeping noise out, though it may have been less noisy since we were on the second floor.... More
