After reading mixed reviews I was apprehensive on my journey to Barcelona. I was so relieved when we arrived!! We firstly got upgraded to room 209 with a private balcony which was an added bonus. The room was clean, modern with all the amenities we needed. Ok so it didn't have tea making facilities and BBC didn't work but I... More

We got a cab in from the airport, it cost €36 but we felt it was worth it to get to the hotel as soon as possible. We didn't realsie that you had to pay upfront for your stay...that's just the way this hotel does it apparently. Our room was a twin room on the second floor. It was clean... More

This hotel is conveniently located in the City, 15 minute walk to monument to Colombus, 15 minutes to La Rambla and 10 minute walk to pick up of tourist bus. Rooms on front of hotel can be noisy as the sound rises from the narrow street below so request room at rear if you are a light sleeper. Rooms were... More

This hotel is located on a good street (Princessa) as it is easy to locate between the dizzying gothic quarter and the Born district, and it is a nice walk to Placa Catalunya. The room can be described as sparse or no frills but clean and modern. It was not what I would call comfortable though. The best thing I... More

Despite the street noise, tight space, & paucity of furniture (no drawers or place to store clothes other than a few hangers), the rooms are cool & clean, the location is fabulous, the hotel staff warm, friendly, helpful, accommodating; the rooftop pool is refreshing, (if ridiculously small), the patio a relaxing place to chill out after sightseeing, especially after dark;... This hotel is slightly off the main path in the center, but that makes it more interesting ...and more of a "find". The area is best explored on foot, as most of it is lanes and pedestrian streets. The hotel is on the edge of the gothic "old town", in an area that is getting a bit more touristy each... More

Was quite impressed with this hotel ... very clean, staff is friendly and helpful, location is great and the room was one of the largest I've seen in Europe. Didn't notice the "paper thin" walls, but there was a considerable amount of noise to be heard from the street. Mind you, this was Christmas Eve on a Saturday night --... More

I really enjoyed my three night stay at this hotel, I agree with other reviewers that the walls are paper thin, but most hotels in Barcelona are not well equipped for a quiet night's rest if located anywhere in popular tourist locations. For the price and location, it's a great value. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Coffee service is... More

While this was a lovely hotel with great staff and good overall facilities it was blighted by the fact that the walls were paper thin. We could hear the person next door coughing - as if they were in our room. Anytime anyone went down the corridor of our floor we could hear everything they said and when they opened... More

Just spend 6 nights at the hotel and overall the stay was fine. The location of the hotel is great...you can walk to all main attractions and you can also walk to some of the best tapas bars and restaurants in barcelona. The staff of the hotel was helpful but the room we stayed could use some improvements. the walls... More
