The location is good, just next to a really nice park and a walking distance to the main square (5-10minutes). The area was pretty calm, but the hotel is a bit old fashioned and minimalistic. In any case, the hotel is average but it's a good value for the price you pay.

I was impressed with the fact that this hotel is active on Twitter, Facebook and will tweet you to confirm its booking. Other than that it is a classy, Savoy-style hotel with a luxurious, ample lobby, somewhat old-fashioned rooms but a hearty good breakfast. Recommendable.

Our Wine Club, a group of 24 with connections in the wine trade, based at this hotel for a week to visit winemakers in the region. The Bar and Reception staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. Language is no barrier to a friendly smile. We won't be back. Marian O'Keeffe Cork Ireland

The hotel is located between the train and busstations and the historical city center (15 min walk). Is was very comfortable, clean, friendly staff and everything you can expect from a four star hotel. Recommendable
