The best thing about Hotel Alameda Palace is the location - very central. The building and reception area are grand but a bit tired. Room was comfortable, as was bed. Other reviewers mention noisy air con, but I did not have that problem. Breakfast was pretty ordinary, but plentiful. Did not eat other meals there. I would stay there again. More

This hotel is right in the centre of Salamanca, near all the sights. It is lovely in a grand way - lots of glass, marble and gilt, but a bit soulless. The breakfast was stunning - far too much food for the number of guests. The decor is old fashioned and in need of a refresh but the room was... More

Stayed for one night in September on route to Portugal. No real issues except for noisy A/C and the breakfast was fairly average. More

Upon entering the beautiful lobby, you are immediately impressed by the French style chairs, extensive glass and black marble all around. Beautiful elevators and hallways. Everything is in a fine state of repair. Our room was equally lovely with gold and chrome fixtures, black marble and glass partitions in the bathroom. The living area was fully furnished with a great... More

Very bad staff, had to pay 3 Euros for the internet cable, as there is no WI-FI. No English channels, event thought it claims to have satellite TV. Very difficult, narrow underground parking. Not a good experience of Spain, noisy air conditioning. Will not return. More

This large hotel is about a ten minute walk from the old part of Salamanca. The staff are very helpful. Room was large with gaudy gilded and red silk covered furniture and black marble bathroom - you get the idea. Not our taste but clean comfortable 4 star. Large car park. Salamanca is a lovely ancient university town and well... More

This is a beauty, hard polished marble and wood abound. The bath rooms are like a mini private spa,all amenities also, shampoo, soap, dental cream, toothbrushes, razors and the list goes on. The lobby is always clean and very inviting with large windows overlooking the park across the street. The breakfast buffet is outrageous the variety is huge all the way from Tortilla Espanola to lox,and assorted... More
