This is unglamorous but very pleasant hotel about 2 kms from the town centre of Salamanca. The room very comfortable. All the other reviews have already said how good this hotel is and I completely agree. We got a great deal on the melia website. Only drawback is you can't really walk into the centre of Salamanca. Indeed we drove in in the afternoon to visit, then stayed in the hotel to eat that night rather than drive back in.... more

The hotel is situated a good 5 min taxi ride from the old centre costing 5 euros. Not the best of walks to attempt. Next to El Tormes shopping centre.
