We enjoyed our stay in the Room Mate Vega, and although we don't much like chain hotels, we would consider other Room Mate hotels in future based on this experience. Our room wasn't spacious with large windows, as described in other reviews. It was a smallish room on the third floor with just one small "attic" window. However, it was... more

We had a great time in Salamanca - and our stay at the Vega definitely was a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, the accommodations lovely, the location perfect. The breakfast each morning was a plus . I would definitely stay again! more

very clean, comfortable, stylish, excellent location-- right next to plaza mayor!-- and affordable. what more could you ask for? complimentary breakfast was great too. i've already recommended the room mate hotels to several friends and would definitely come back! more

Room Mate Vega is a great property located just one block from the Plaza. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The complimentary continual breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying at this quaint hotel. more

Salamanca must be one of the most beautiful historic cities in Spain. This prestigious university town has been on my wish list for some time. We stayed in Room Mate Vega during Easter weekend. We arrived early but our room was ready, it was on the ground floor but there wasn't too much noise. The gentleman at the reception desk was really helpful when checking in and later when we were heading out, he gave us maps and directions and also information on the Easter... more
