We stayed here about two weeks into our camino trek. We were looking forward to a nice historic hotel in a good location. The location is great, no doubt about that. The hotel itself is very pretty on the outside, but is a bit shabby and run-down on the interior. We'd probably stay elsewhere next time for a bit more... More

Stayed here two nights while on the Camino de Santiago. The front desk staff was particularly friendly and helpful, even to the point of letting me use the office computer for Internet access to a personal bank account that a nearby Internet café couldn't do. It is clean but the whole place (the building, decoration, furniture, bathroom, etc.) a little dated. It has no character, really. The room didn't have an A/C (Burgos in July is really hot.) I wouldn't recommend it.

It calls itself a two star but we think it’s nudging three plus. The reception and ambience are great. Full of “oldie worlde” character and the location couldn’t be better easy walking to all the “Old Town” including cafes, restaurants, cathedral etc. Our room was spacious, light a good size comfortable bed and a Juliette balcony overlooking the pedestrianised part...
