Excellent location if just passing through along the North coast, but not for Santander itself. Its quite cheap to eat in the Cafe Bar area with the locals, either for your evening meal or breakfast, rather than the resturant. easy to find.

Modern build hotel with secure underground parking a decent distance from Santander port. Great designer rooms with fancy bathrooms and showers. We ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room and both meals were excellent Dinner 16 euros for 3 course meal and 8 euros for buffet breakfast with cook to order dishes as well. It's about 6 miles from San Cibrian to Santander and there isn't much near the hotel so expect to travel if you are doing anything other than stopping overnight before getting a ferry. The hotel itself is great for what it is. Nice rooms, good breakfast, free wi-fi, easy parking. The bar/restaurant attached is a reasonable choice as well.
