We stayed over christmas and new year. The hotel and room was good. Entertainment was very poor. Nothing special laid on at all. The food was ok in the buffet, but again nothing special for christmas. There were 3 themed restaurants, but the food was the same buffet food as in the main restaurant. We quite often stay in Puerto Cruz for the New Year and this time selected this hotel for its location - just 5 minutes from the best beach in the town, next door to Loro Parque. My husband and I spent New Year here. It is a beautifully designed hotel with a calm and airy atmosphere. Although the place mainly hosts people over 40, New Years Eve was festive and cheerful with free sparkling wine and fantastic fireworks. Very big hotel and spotlesly clean. Room spacious but the beds are rock solid. We had a sea view with a balcony above the bussiest 2 roads in Tenerife..the traffic noise was all day and all night....and also to get to the beach you have to cross the roads.
