The hotel is on the outskirts of Puerto, but close to the Botanic Gardens and several nice restaurants. Excellent rooms, interesting interior decor, good service and friendly staff. Just returned from a week here. Wonderful hotel, great facilities, food and very friendly and helpful staff. Should be a 5 star but probably not snobbish enough .The rooms and everywhere in hotel very clean, and hotel has recently been refurbished and all in tip top condition. Buffet breakfast and dinner always .offered plenty of choice and to high standard.

Just got back from riu garoe and can't wait to go back. A wonderfully peaceful location with surrounding walks with stunning views. The hotel is well designed and very clean. Good food and friendly staff. Shuttle bus to and from town is good. Definitely going back next year.
