A 5-day break was a vacation well spent in the Grand Hotel Mencey. It's just been totally refurbished and really looks the business. “Excellant great stay and wonderful for a city break”

We have just returned after an unexpected stay in Santa Cruz due to my mother breaking her hip. Even though it was a terrible time personally our stay was excellant. Bearing in mind that we only stayed at this hotel due to an overnight delay in our flight from nearby Tenerife North airport, this hotel almost made the delay worthwhile. It had recently (November 2011) re-opened after a 'Savoy-like' refit and is quite simply now world class. Loved it! More
