Very comfortable mattress, new bathroom. Simple but comfortable. The corridors have no decoration at all, unless the owners were looking for the "unfinished warehouse" style (you get used to it). Street view rooms are warmer, even though all of them have central heating / aircon. I stayed 4-5th november 2011, in single and double rooms.
The price in low season...

This is a well located, good value place to stay in Bilbao. The room was small, functional and clean; a few minutes from the old town and about 15-20 mins walk to the Guggenheim. The staff were polite and friendly, and spoke good English. If you want a simple room for the night that does not cost the earth, this...

We stayed 2 days in hotel Bilbi during a holiday that took us along the Basque Country coast. We were a little scared because of some comments here, and Google Maps took a through the "red light district". For Bilbao people it is the 5th parish or the San Fransisco quarter. The hotel is located close to old city. The people were really friendly and the room was clean, comfortable with a really cool and nice design. It was really quiet and the services fantastic. We loved it and we recomend everybody to prefer Bilbi for nice holidays!

Firstly, we arrived by bus and caught the tram to Ribera. We then turned left and walked up to the pedestrian bridge over the river but that took us through a slightly seedy area. At first blush, I went back out to the rental car and looked at other nearby possibilities. The best thing I can say is that the Bilbi isn't as bad as I feared. This hotel is borderline in every sense of the word. I mean that literally as you would not want to head west from the hotel as you...

I stayed here as part of a group, and did not pick or book the hotel myself. So doing what everybody does I googled it to try and get an idea, bad idea - I saw some pretty bad reviews of the hotel and the area. However I was pleasantly surprised, the area was fine, a short stroll (3-4 mins)...

If you look for a clean room for a good price just to know one more city ( Bilbao is a nice place! ), so OK!
But do not spect much more! It takes about 300m in a hill from the next autobus or tramvia station, and the night guy at the reception is not to much for helping the...

The staff in the hotel very helpful but could not speak English. Parking was an additional cost but handy in the city. Hotel 5 minutes walk from the city centre although next to the red light district. Rooms clean but very seedy as was the entire hotel very tired looking. Breakfast is not available
