Main problem was that the hotel was hideously over-heated and that meant the aircon had to be on all the time, even in late October. Rooms basic - no kettle for instance, but free (basic) internet, but they don't advertise that for some reason. More

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It felt like a 5 star hotel at 2 star price! You get a pillow menu! Beds ultra comfy - huge rooms with business hotel touches (comb, shoe shine, sewing kit etc etc). Really funky decor too. Delicious breakfast with plethora of choice. This hotel is located in the Ensamble area of Bilbao, about a 20 minute walk from the Guggenheim. Don't be put off my the 70s glazed frontage - it is comfortable inside and the rooms are fine, even if the decor is a little dated.
