Old-style but classy hotel in great location at Plaza Federico Moyua. We took the inexpensive city bus from the airport to Plaza Moyua and were there inside 20 minutes, after only two intermittent stops. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. We arrived about 11am and were taken straight up to our room rather than being told to come back later at the official check in time, just a little thing but it's things like this that make the difference. The Carlton is a first class, elegent hotel in the heart of downtown Bilboa, Spain, just a short walk to the Guggenheim Museum and numerous fine restaurants and sidewalk cafes. My husband and I stayed at the Carlton in Bilbao in July very comfortable rooms and right in the heart of the city with access to all attractions. the metro is outside the door and and an excellent coffee shop called cafe an tae right beside the hotel, with fab coffee & cakes. More

This hotel perfectly located with metro stop just outside. Room fine with very comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel for short stays as everything you need is close by. More
