A hotel in a great, central location, with plenty of character and charming, helpful staff - throw in the rooftop jacuzzi with views of the Giralda and you've got something that's hard to beat. More

We loved our 3 night honeymoon stay here! We had the junior suite, a beautiful room with wood beam ceilings and other lovely decor touches. The staff here is SO helpful, and speak very good English. It was just a short 3 minute walk to the Cathedral and Real Alcazar, so central! And the daily breakfast was very good. Highly... More

In every way that mattered to us this hotel rates 4 Stars. The location is unbeatable. The building has character and is well appointed with every room being uniquely "tailored" with furnishings that fit the particular space. The rooftop was warm and sunny even in winter and offers great views from above. Plenty of hot water. Reliable internet. Good breakfast... More

Liked this little hotel. Really good location, interesting decor and perfectly good breakfast (free if you book with them directly). Only issue was the patchy internet. More

We really liked this hotel. The room was approx £100 per night in the middle of January and that didn't include breakfast which was 9 euros each per day. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet (due to the time of year) so we enjoyed the peace! Our room was immaculate and looked recently decorated.... More

We loved this hotel, from the internal courtyard to the rooftop jacuzzi. Our rooms were beautifully appointed. The location is excellent. Free bike hire was an added bonus. More

We arrived in November, 2011. I had booked the hotel in advance after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. I was very pleased. I wasn't quite sure the taxi driver knew where I wanted to go because we had to stop a few steps before the alleyway that led to the hotel; but, I discovered the next morning that all of... More

Four of us stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights over New Year. The staff were amazingly warm and hospitable from the moment we arrived. My wife and I stayed in Casa 18, a super room with furniture in tune with the age of the hotel. The heating took a bit of working out, but worked fine. The... More

I stayed at the El Rey Moro for four nights over the New Year's week-end. My first room was a single which I needed to accommodate an extra night which was unplanned. It was the "purple" room and was lovely. The second room which I shared with my daughter had two twin beds and was in a Moorish decor, somewhat... More

Based on the reviews by other travelers, I enthusiastically booked the El Rey Moro for our trip through Andalusia, and I was let-down. Our room was very small and cold (heater didn't seem to be working properly?), overlooking a drab alley so didn't get much light. No extra amenities in the room, such as coffee, etc. Free wi-fi. However, the... More
