I stayed in this hotel on a weekend break and was very pleasantly surprised given the reasonable price. The location is perfect for Santa Cruz, restaurants, bars, gardens and 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Overall we had a very nice stay at the Fernando III. It was in a good location, had nice appointments, and generally the staff was helpful. We had a couple of downsides....ants, water leak, hard beds, construction noise.....but it worked well all in all. There is a pool on the roof, but the staff failed to tell us about it.... more
