There is no reception at the Dona Lola, so check in at the sister hotel just around the corner, there is a map on the door and is all very easy, so don't worry about that. Recent refurbishment has clearly smartened the place up but it still doesn't feel comfortable at all, it's very clinical and cold. Rooms are cleaned... More

the owners are very gentle and to me was nice not having a concierge (they own the close hotel casona san andres, which is just 200 meters away or less). The flaws are: 1. cleaning lady very noisy and brusque. 2. the room at the ground floor in which I was is very noisy. 3. bathroom is small and details... More

Dona Lola has nicely decorated, newly renovated rooms at a reasonable rate. The location is just a 8-10 minute walk from all the major sites (note that you will be walking-- traffic is a disaster in Seville and we ended up walking everywhere when we would have normally taken a few buses). As mentioned in other reviews, check-in is at... More

Well a lot of my rating is because of what I paid for the room..We were transferred here as our other hotel overbooked on the pretext that we were being upgraded.. At 0430 in morning I did not have energy to argue and decided to take the room.. The room was a shack on top of a hostel building,,, it... More

It's not made clear that check-in occurs at a hotel a few blocks away, so I didn't appreciate having to wander the streets of Seville late at night to find this other hotel in order to check in. Despite the map provided on the door, I still needed to ask for directions. The lack of reception was a problem upon... More

You have to do the checkin/checkout at the 3* parent hotel at about 80m from the entrance of this one as there is no permanent reception here. There is no restaurant in the hotel but with a 10min walk you can find plenty of restaurants/tapas bars. As for the positive things: - The location is great as it's very central... More

A very nice hotel with a 'boutique' feel. Everything was modern, new and, very importantly, clean! You need to check in at its sister hotel round the corner but it only takes a minute to get there so isn't particularly inconvenient. We were lucky to get a room with a huge window (the orange room) which gave us a privileged... More

This hotel was a different experience since there was no reception and it was more or less a self check in. It is unusual that they ask you to go to their 3 * hotel nearby for the room key etc but once you are in its fine. The rooms are clean and well maintained and there is a very... More

I had a good stay in this hotel which is basically new. The room was small but modern and equipped with all facilities including a/c. The hotel as already stated does not have a reception - check in has to be done in another hotel which is nearby. Breakfast is self service and is made only of a coffee machine,... More

The hotel was very clean and excellent value for money. Rooms were modern and a good size. The location of the hotel was about 10-15 minutes walk to Cathedral and 10-15 walk to Maracena Church. Was an excellent base for touring Seville. Very helpful staff especially allowing us to use the internet late at night during ash cloud crisis. More
