Internet did not work, Elevators very small and very very slow, We had a balcony facing a brick wall 6 feet away. The room for two people was very small. Old style TV, with no English channels. No bar fridge in the room, no safe in the room, Very noisy Disco club playing all night, hard to sleep. Food area... More

My friend and I stayed at this hotel as part of an Archers tour of Andalucia. The rooms were very dark and my friend had to use my safety deposit box as she couldn't see the numbers on hers. Her room smelt of sewers as did the room next door and overlooked a horrible fire escape and she could not... More

The very first receptionist I met was enthusiastic and helpful. Otherwise staff were ok. Location - ok, slightly seedy feel once away from the main tourist lanes but I didn't run into trouble. Rooms - I got upgraded to a king single room which was nice, but like someone else said there was a weird sewer smell. I had to... More

So we decided to visit Granada and booked one week fly&drive in *** hotel Don Juan. The pictures on their website looked promising: a "loungy" reception area and bar, bright rooms, perfect location.... Pictures tell stories, but in this case the wrong one. In any aspect imaginable. From the terrible sewer smell persisting in our tiny 4th floor bedroom, the... More

Granada was our favorite city on the tour and we wish is was a longer stay. Shops, Restaurants, the Cathedral, and outdoor square, were all a nice walk through a beautiful city, that smelled of orange blossoms. One night, a full orchestra was playing outside the Cathedral. It was magical. The nightlife was vibrant and lively. I found my new... More

We stayed for two nights at the Don Juan as part of a Cosmos / Archers tour of Andalucia. The room was basic. Due to continuous torrential rain we were not disturbed by nocturnal student revellers but were disappointed that there was no bar or cafe open during the day. This was to the benefit of local cafes who made... More

We managed to sleep well but others didn't. In the heart of the student quarter there is plenty going on, plenty to hear and see but often at the wrong times for a traveller and it can be noisy outside. The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard and is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was better than... More

Satisfactory hotel, the rooms were nice and clean. The breakfasts were of the usual continental type. The bacon was undercooked (both mornings) and of a very streaky nature. The evening meals were buffet style, not much choise and hardly any veg provided. Don't bank on a solid sleep, as the large student population don't seem to need any rest, and... More
