The hotel is a very well designed composite for three buildings, one of which is an old convent with a beautiful stone courtyard. The rooms vary by where they’re located in the hotel. We (my wife and I and our adult daughter) had a “superior” room in the convent that faced the balcony above the courtyard. It didn’t get any... More

Nice decor, friendly staff, helpful concierge, beautiful rooms. This has the historic spanish style structure with a beautiful courtyard. We were in the room 125 in the old building. Amazing in all respects. The room had beautiful art decor and had a unique feel to it. Highly recommend it. More

Situated in an old convent, this hotel has a very unique feel and has been nicely renovated. We went for a Premium Room, which gave us a interior courtyard view in what appeared to be the old convent (as opposed to the newer modern section of the hotel). This kept things quiet, which was great. The room itself was ok.... More

Excellent hotel in all aspects: very good rooms, very good restaurant (maybe dishes were too large), very nice atmosphere in historic setting. Staff was very friendly and very supporting. Reception staff was also very knowledgeable about the city's historic site. More

Went for a meal in the restaurant with 6 friends after hearing so much about this hotel, the service was excellent and the food was superb. We opted for the set menu at 45euro and weren't disappointed. We had 4 courses each one different to the next and the dessert was delicious. The attention to detail was beyond my wildest... More

I chose this hotel for its cool history and it ended up being a really intriguing juxtaposition of old architecture and modern rooms. The restaurant is especially cool. The folks at reception were helpful in getting taxis, giving directions, etc. Getting free drinks from the minibar was a nice bonus. Bathrooms are spacious and nicely laid out. For breakfast, the... We've just returned from 3 nights in this beautiful hotel which is steeped in history. We found all the staff extremely courteous and friendly. We had a room in the old part of the hotel which was off one of the cloisters and it was beautifully quiet. We slept really well. The hotel is in a great location to explore... More

If you like to sleep with your window open (and we do, especially when it is only 50 degrees out at night) we sure to ask for a room away from the street. We were surprised that the street noise was as much as Barcelona at night. Otherwise, it was a comfortable hotel with an especially nice bathroom. More

Wonderful welcome, early check-in, mini-bar without charge, luxurious bedroom and bathroom, full amenities, and COMPLETELY QUIET even though first floor front on the busiest street in the city. Could not recommend more highly. More
