Excellent find....only €53 for a twin room! Hotel on 4 floor of a historic building in Central Granada. Rooms well fitted out and bathroom of good size. One of the better hotels if this standard. Only downside was parking as we were directed to a public car park with discounted rates only to be turned away because we refused to... More

Stayed for 2 nights during Semana Santa, because of the duration, I got to experience the services of this hotel from night to day: On the first night, we were arriving from Cõrdoba, the train had a 20 mins delay, by the time we got to Estacion del Renfe, it was almost 10pm. It takes a 20 mins walk from... More

This hotel is a bit hard to find by car. It's a bit off putting when you arrive as it's on the 6th floor of a very nameless building. But it's well located, clean, nice balcony view and a reasonable price. Parking and breakfast are extra so it would be worth comparing a hotel that includes both these charges. More

We booked this hotel based on the positive reviews on tripadvisor. On the positive side, the location was great in terms of access to Granada's treasures but also in nice quiet square with a handy grocery store downstairs. On the negative side, we had booked it through a travel consolidator, who paid only 39 Euros per night (I found this... More

I stayed at this hotel in March 2011 with two friends. We were initially hesitant to book because it is technically a one star hotel. But all the reviews were positive and the price was unbeatable. We didn't regret our decision at all. The hotel is in a great location, central to all the sights but still on a quiet... More

We booked this hotel after reading some reviews that were good, but a few also mentioned smelly bathrooms. As we were travelling to Spain after six months in Asia, smelly bathrooms werent really a worry... thankfully, we stayed 7 nights and found this to be an economical and well run place, with very clean rooms (and our bathroom smelt fine-... Like other reviewers said, there're many good things about the hotel: location near transportation to Albaicin and Alhambra, walking distance to many good tapa bars and other attractions; helpful and friendly staff, a small eating room, a grocery store just outside (where you can buy cured jambon, sweet caquis, water, etc). However, the bathroom had a foul smell, like sweage,... More

Honestly I travelled from Portugal to France for a whole month and slept in many hotels and hostels. Now when I found this, what I assumed was a hostel, on a website I was happy with the price and booked it right away. To my amazement this is a small hotel with excellent service. The price for the month of... More

This was a great place to stay. It far exceeded our expectations for a budget hotel. The room was spacious and immaculately clean and had everything we could have wanted for a two night stay. A clean, comfortable bed and shower with plenty of hot water. Staff were courteous and informative. The location was great for visits to the Alhambra... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Carlos V over New Year. The hotel is fairly well-located, about 10 minutes’ walk from the Plaza Nueva and very convenient for the buses to the Alhambra and Albaicin, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There is free wifi available, though not (as is suggested online) extending to all the guest... More
