My wife and I stayed at Hotel Anacapri for three nights this past May. I concur with all the positive reviews that have recently been posted. We have frequently used Rick Steve’s recommendations on our trips to Europe and have not been disappointed. Anacapri’s strong points are: quiet hotel on a quiet street, clean comfortable standard room, friendly helpful staff... More

We stayed here for two nights in June 2013. As other reviewers have said, the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel staff was also superb. They helped with trivial (how to get a bus) to the more important (restaurant recommendations). Most importantly, they went far beyond what we could have expected in helping us with lost luggage. We do not... More

Spent 3 nights here in June 2013. The location is SUPERB. Around the corner is the cathedra and around another corner is Plaza Nueva. Rooms are small, yet comfortable. Bathroom is very clean and covenient. Only negative thing: the breakfast: your money on breakfast is better spent somewhere else. Especially if you want a decent coffee. But that is really... More

6 nights, mid May, 2013. Location can't be beat, on a small one way street with little night time activity (there is an Indian restaurant across the street, but we never saw anyone dine there). Our room was tomb quiet. Cathedral just stumbling distance away. Skip the 11 Euro hotel breakfast, there are at least two carryout coffee/pastry shops nearby.... More

The rooms were very small and fairly dark, the walls were a bit thin, so it was easy to hear other travelers coming and going at late and early hours, and the decor was somewhat run-down and outdated, but the hotel scored big points for friendly staff and location. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful in showing... More

We drove from Portugal and stayed two nights. Parking is 16 Euros per 24 hours nearby. Plenty of tapas restaurants a short walk away. The room was small and the bathroom could do with updating but the bed was comfy and double glazing plus aircon ensured quiet nights. Good value for what we paid.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Anacapri. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, a few minutes from the cathedral, and within walking distance of the Albaicin and the Alhambra. Although the hotel is old it is very well maintained. Our room was large and comfortable, and so was the bathroom. Both were very clean.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in March, the hotel is an easy walk about 1.5km from the station . Its loctaed just off the main tourist area which made it quieter yet very close to everything. Our room was small very clean and comfortable. The man in reception was very helpful with obtaining tickets and bookins. The hotel is in... More

We had trouble finding an affordable triple room in Granada, but this one worked for a short stay. It is conveniently located near bus lines and taxi stands. The hotel is old, but clean. It's proprietor is a former Iowan. The best thing about this place was the daytime staff member named Roberto. He spoke very good English and helped... More

We stayed in a large room with divider and 4 beds at the top of the hotel. It's in a great location - a quick taxi to the Alhambra and a quick walk back. Wifi in the lobby was strong. Breakfast looked good, but we went out for breakfast each day. If you're driving, I'd highly recommend parking at the... More
