I just read the "Disappointed" review. She must have been very unlucky and no doubt got lost on the way to the Port. The pool was just beautiful and the walk down to te beach takes 20-25 minutes we went with the children for about 5 days over the two weeks. It is an apart hotel and many of the flats are owned as holiday homes so the rental company rents out their own and occasionally rents for other owners. We asked about an Iron and we were delivered one within an hour. The bar / restaurant owner was a bit miserable and had the habit of closing when it was not busy. A bit furstrating when you were expecting to pop in after a long day out. but there are several good restaurants and bars in the immediate locality and all very reasonable (More so than the one in the building) If you go there ask for Los Faralillos. There are several bars nearby. The Den is a bit of an East Enders haunt. Yves Bar down the hill was great and Port of Call at night was an amazing drinkers... more

My daughter and I went to the Torre del Andalucia 06.06.2006 for one week. Whilst we loved Puerto Banus we were disappointed with the accomodation. It was much further than 1km to Puerto Banus and took us over an hour to walk!! This meant we spent far too much on taxis. There were limited facilities in the hotel, the restaurant was closed on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, this meant we were unable to get anything to eat or drink. There was nowhere in the vicinity for us to go to as an alternative. This was a self catering holiday and the studio did not even have a kettle or pan.We would have liked to at least have breakfast in the restaurant but on the few occasions it was open this wasnt until 12.30pm! I think we should have been advised if this was classed as 'out of season' as we would have chosen somewhere with better facilities.
