I stayed in El Fuerte with my wife for five-days on a ful- board package including beverages. The location of the hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to the many restaurants on the promenade and central Marbella. The very interesting "Old Town" is also about 10 minutes away and highly reccomend a visit there. We... more

As has been said before, the hotel had an excellent location right next to the beach. It's a really lovely hotel, and most of the effort seemed to go into the buffet breakfast, and the pool and lawn area. We arrived on foot via the bus, and went to the El Fuerte Miramar Hotel on accident - which was closed... more

Beautiful hotel situated right on the beach (well a walk way betwwen hotel and beach) and short walk from the old town. Went on a girlie weekend and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay !! Arrived to a cloudy day but when we got to hotel rooms weren't ready so we where immediately given a voucher for... more

We have been to this hotel on numerous occasions, and each time it gets better and better. The location is fantastic, right on the beach front, yet raised up so no one can look in. The location is quiet, yet 5 minutes and you are in Orange Square. The staff are courteous, yet unobtrusive. A warm welcome always guaranteed. ........... more

I have read the other reviews and they are mostly accruate, The hotel is right on the seafront with direct access to the promonade. It is a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars on the sea front and also inland and into the old town. I don't think there is a better location in Marbella. The hotel is... more

Book a seaview room or at least a side sea view; it is more expensive but worth it.You can have a drink on your balcony overlooking the gardens and the sea. The sea is 20 metres from the hotel. It could not be better positioned. There is a rush with peope reserving loungers BEFORE breakfast( and no they are not all... more

My wife & I took a weeks break here from 19th September. The location is just great. Access to the 'Promonade' is directly from the Hotel grounds. The Old Town and Plaza de los Naranja are a short walk away. Overall the Hotel is clean and well looked after. On arrival reception was quite good. Over the week some inconsistancies... more

Stayed there as part of our honeymoon. Hotel is nicely located in the heart of Marbella with direct access to the beach. Good: location, cleaniness Bad: hidden charges - safe box in the room 3eur/day, parking 10eur/day, no free wifi except for a tiny area around the bar, small rooms, a "terrasse" is nothing but a simple balcony. Toilet was... more

The El Fuerte is a lucky hotel. It is lucky in its location, in its dedicated staff and in its owners; although they own a string of other hotels, one feels that this on is their favourite; the jewel in the crown. Each time we talked with the desk clerk, there was a sense of engagement and desire to help.... more
