We booked two rooms - one with a double bed the other with two singles. Both rooms were the same price and we had mistakenly hoped that they would at least be similar in size and layout. The room with the double bed was the smaller of the two and the bed was placed against a wall and immediately to... More

It is worth staying here for the location close to the wonderful food market and proximity to the main shopping street (Larios). Staff very helpful and friendly. Modern fittings and clean and well kept. Malaga itself is much improved compared to my last visit 15 years ago. More

Central clean friendly hotel with good rooms and large confortable beds. Ideally located for shopping, strolling, train stations etc. Finding the hotel parking is the only downside. Our repeat visit confirmed our positive view of this hotel. More

The hotel itself was lovely, clean and fairly modern. The location was lovely, close to the old part of town with lots of shops, restaurants, etc. and about 5 min walk from the cathedral. The only downside was that it was about a 15 minute walk to the beach - which wasn't a huge problem because it is a lovely... More

Ideally situated opposite Market and very close to all shops and restaurants. Quiet rooms with helpful friendly staff. Fantastic little cafe, Casa Aranda, next to Market with hot chocolate to die for! Stayed here lots of times, in fact going back tomorrow! More

Stayed for 1 night as we had an early flight from Malaga airport. Chose this hotel because it was located near to airport bus, however it was only 5 minutes walk to local railway station so we travelled to airport on train. Hotel very clean, good value breakfast and located close (15 minute walk) to the old town. More

My husband and I spent 4 days/3 nights in Malaga, Spain. The reception staff was friendly and offered some tourist tips for the city. The rooms are extremely basic and average size for European standards. The linens seemed very basic and didn't offer the best comfort in the room. The bathroom seemed like it needed a few updates to give... More

It would probably help future reviewers if we stated which floor/room we stayed in and whether it faced the courtyard or not, as it determines whether you get a wink of sleep or not. I really cannot emphasise enough how noisy it was. I went towards the end of January 2011 and there was construction work on the buildings directly... More

2nd stay in this hotel. Very convenient location, over the road from the Atarazanas market. 5 mins stroll to Calle Larios, the main shopping street and a few minutes further to the sights. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Taxi rank just along the road but the Alameda Centro underground station is just by the river 5 mins walk away,... More
