We stayed at the Eurostars Astoria hotel for 2 nights before going on a cruise and 1 night after our cruise. The hotel is in an excellent location if you are coming in to Malaga by train from the airport as the last stop for the train (Malaga central) is just outside the hotel. Our room for the 2 nights... This little gem of a hotel is right downtown Malaga. Fairly close to the pier and very near several restaurants and bars. I was a little apprehensive when I booked it for the night before a Mediterranean cruise, but very happy once we arrived. The rooms were small but well appointed and very clean. There was even a whirlpool tub... More

About the prices, they were good for December and you have a train station, coming from the airport, one block from hotel. It's a short walk to downtown historic area. There aren't much choices of places to eat around the hotel, but we found a pizza place that was nice. Our first staying was great. We had a confortable, quiet... More

Stayed in Malaga for six nights but in this hotel for only two of those. Due to high demand we could only get our desired hotel for the last four nights of our stay so booked this hotel, as it was just down the road and we have stayed at Eurostars hotel in Barcelona in the past, for the first... We booked this hotel very last minute as we ended up in Malaga unexpectedly. The reception area looks lovely nad is very clean and welcoming. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The room itself is not the biggest, but we already know that european hotels tend to be smaller than uk 4 star hotels (what we are usually used... More

No hot water, no excuses. An attitude of: these things happen, nothing to do with us. No recompense or gift. I mean, what's unusual about no hot water? Room, bathroom and breakfast (except undrinkable koffie) are all reasonable. Near to centre, far from beach. Staff is polite but do not seem to be interested in the guest standing in front... More

Location of the hotel is excellent, in the close vicinity of the train station (trains go to the airport) as well as the city centre and the Sightseeing Bus Station. The room was clean, with wifi access. However, there were no duvets (only bed sheets) so everyone got cold at night. There was also a problem with adjusting the temperature... More

Stayed here for a week with my husband and 20 year old daughter. She will be moving to Malaga shortly so this was our "get to know the area" trip! Couldn't have stayed in a better place: helpful staff, convenient location and an excellent breakfast, would recommend More

great location, 10 minutes walking into centre or shopping, friendly informal staff. room is OK for the price, had the romantic stay which included a bottle of fizz and late check out. breakfast had plenty of fresh fruits, croissants, ham was a bit tired but the spanish ham was delicious, cheeses good. Not sure about the orange juice, after all... More

We stayed for one night on May 9th because we had an early flight the next morning. Cost was very reasonable and included a substantial continental breakfast. We were able to check in at 12 as our room was ready. Room was very large and very comfortable with contemporary decor. We booked a superior room with balcony for only a... More
