Very polite, friendly and warm welcome at the reception. No question about the luxury. Clean room, nice views, BUT.... arriving planes over your head to Malaga Airport every 5 minutes or so is not nice when you want to relax. Outside bar area furniture filled with bird [--]. ThIs was a good hotel and it will be very good, but in September 2007 it is half way though a major refurbishment. There is plenty of building site noise (e.g. grinding, construction workers shouting) during the day. There was no warning about this when we booked which I think is unacceptable. more

Like all of Spain's paradors, this one is beautiful with large,immaculate rooms, comfortable balconies, spacious grounds, and many amenities. Right on the Mediterranean, it provides beach access and spectacular views. While completely correct, service is so formal that at times one feels unwelcome. more
