We booked into the Hotel for two nights as pre wedding break as we are getting married in Nerja next week. Room is ok but far too expensive for the standard. The hotel is on its own with great views but you need a taxi into town which is €8 each way. There is a roof top pool with no... More

We decided to book this Parador for a one night stay in Malaga as we had visited Malaga last year and wanted to spend more time in this lovely city and wanted to get rid of the car a.s.a.p. We had dropped off some visitors at the airport and had made our way to the Parador about 11.00 a.m. the... More

A beautiful Parador set high above Malaga with spectacular views and sunsets. We had a buffet dinner and it really was pathetic very meagre and just one choice of main course the buffet itself was tired and tasteless more like a works canteen than a restaurant

Nice rooms with a great view on the port of Malaga ! The proximity with the castle is very useful. It is really quiet. The restaurant offers a nice buffet menu. The roof pool is very nice. The staff is very kind and caring. The wifi internet is great and free: it's a miracle in most of the hotels.

Room was comfortable, balcony is quite small but amazing views from the top of the hill. There is a rooftop pool which is nice. Not quite a 5-star experience (more like 4 star) but I had no complaints really. The trade-off is that you are quite far from town, so you either walk or grab a taxi.

The standard of catering has taken a turn for the worse. The cafeteria offers a nondescript tapas and raciones menu which compares unfavourably with traditional tapas bars in central Malaga. I was surprised to find that if I wished to have an evening meal it was compulsory to have 3 courses at a fixed price. Whatever happened to the more... More

We stayed here in late March for one night after arriving from Canada via Frankfurt. Parking is difficult to find. The accommodations were average. Terrace service was terrible. We had to go find the one server and the menu did not have a lot to offer. The good things were the free welcome drink for each person once we found... More

After 2 weeks in a wet and cold Andalucia, and having spent 000 s of euros at paradors, my last experience was haggling over 20 euros at 4 in the morning as we left for an early flight. On check in I'd been promised a credit towards dinner to make up for the fact that we weren't going to be... More

Our friends had a room on the third floor with fabulous views. We had a room on the first floor with a view of the service entrance, no wi-fi-signal, and next to the elevator. I would only stay here if you could get a guarantee for a third or fourth floor room. Otherwise, not worth being away from the city.

This parador have a marvellous view. But instead of staying in a hotel with cockroaches and bad service, it is better to take the afternoon tea, coffee or beer at the terrace, overlooking the city of Malaga and return back to a hotel with a good service after the tea. We stayed at the parador for three nights. But already... More
