Finally got around to writing a review - apologies to Garret and Jacqui for the delay. I have stayed here several times over the years and will keep on coming back. El Rancho is perfectly placed in the Mountains, a short blast on the motorway, inland from Malaga. Here you will find an idyllic place to unwind, with excellent facilities,... More

Just got back from two weeks in Spain with the first at El Rancho followed by a few days in Cordoba and Malaga. This was by far the best accommodation of our stay. Jacque and Garret made us very welcome and provided us with not only an upgrade but also lots of useful advice and tips about Spain. The village... More

Spent a week here in September 2011 and had a wonderful time. Jacque and Garret were the perfect hosts - there if you needed them but always respecting your privacy. They generously upgraded us to the larger unit. It's a perfect base for Antequera, Ronda, Granada and Malaga. I would definitely recommend it. More

We stayed here for a week with our 4 children. The accommodation was spotless (felt like everything was brand new) as were all the outside areas. The areas around the (huge, clean and warm) pool were beautifully landscaped with lots of lovely seating areas and each place has its own outside kitchen which was great. Jacque and Garret were fantastic... More

Our family of 2 adults + 1 teenage daughter stayed here for two weeks in late June. Despite being worried that the out of town location would be a problem for our 14 year old, she absolutely loved the location and having her own en-suite bathroom to her own bedroom, as well as a lovely pool more or less to... We stayed at El Rancho as part of a month long trip to Spain. We wanted somewhere we could use as a base for a week to relax.. turns out we couldn't have made a better choice! El Rancho is in Villanueva del Trabuco, which was an easy drive from our first stop in Seville and also super easy for... More

We had a really relaxing week at El Rancho. Our hosts Jacque Garrett could not do enough for us .Norma and Malc Jacque parents were very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them. The accomadation was excellent and very well furnished and equipped. The horses were all very well cared for and a great area to ride in. More

My wife, daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful week at El Rancho staying in the 'Pasa Fina' two-bedroom cottage, as well as first night stay in the B&B (we arrived a day early). For the first couple of days we did not venture outside of El Rancho, enjoying simply relaxing by the fabulous pool, wandering around the grounds enjoying... More

My wife and I spent 5 days with Jacque (Jackie) and Garrett on their really beautiful ranch last Easter. As my wife was 6 months pregnant at the time, we were looking for a short getaway over the Easter break to unwind at somewhere relaxed, peaceful and authentic - and my god we weren't disappointed. The mood was set on... More

This is the second time that we have stayed at El Rancho and we had an amazing time again. El Rancho itself looks even better than it did last year. The hot tub is in full effect and they have even more horses to choose from if riding is your thing. I can't stress enough how welcome we were made... More
