Some hotels you just do like and some you just forget. Alt-Weimar was a hotel which I liked. The old building (once the home of the founder of the “Steiner School”) is full of atmosphere. The big windows, the corridors and the magnificent restaurant were to my liking. The breakfast was also very good. But the room was a bit... more

Hotel rooms are very simple (Bauhaus style) but nice and clean. Very nice breakfast with fresh produce and eggs freshly prepared in your preferred fashion. The restaurant is very nice and has a typical cosy German atmosphere through its wood panelling and the black and white photos from days gone by.
