Pleasant hotel in the centre of Jena, very clean and freshly decorated. Small modular style bathroom but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive. Have previously stayed in the much more expensive Esplanade Hotel which is currently closed for refurbishment, will definitely return to the Ibis on our next visit. More

Whilst the room lacks some of the features of more expensive hotels, it had a good bed, was clean and quiet, and had a compact but excellently designed bathroom. At €59, it was excellent value. The buffet breakfast for €10 would please most people, but had limited choices for someone (like me) who is glutein intolerant. The city of Jena... More

Ibis Jena is OK at best and too expensive for what it is. Very small room. Good friendly staff. Breakfast was a high point of our stay - great buffet. Bathroom certainly was not - tiny plastic pre-made cabin ..... a shame thay make these. All in all not a good choice. More

Nothing to complain about on this stay. The room was comfortable and breakfast was quite good. Amenities were fine. The pillows were a bit lumpy. Staff were extremely courteous. More
