Many years ago I found this B&B located outside Lübeck, a beautiful city in northern Germany. Its typically german, modest but very clean and nice. Whenever we enter Germany coming down from Norway, this place is a 'must'. Dont be alarmed there is a busy road in front of the bulding, alle rooms are at the back of the hotel. Above the entrance there is a small sign saying this in German: "Alle zimmer auf rückseite'. No AC but even in July, with a temperature of 30 celcius, we had no problems. I am a light sleeper but we all had en good nights sleep.

The breakfast was typical german, break, milk, cereals, juice and cold cuts/spread. The owners are very nice and work hard to keep this small place proper. They do not all speak english but do understand what you're saying in english.. :-)
