We booked the hotel by calling and afterwards looked the websites. Then we noticed that it was a very luxurious hotel. The familyroom was a little bit small. Two of the three children of ours had to share a bed but it was still more pros in the hotel. Location and breakfast were good. more

We spent an overnight trip sight trip in Lübeck while on a trip to Britain. We had a room overlooking the canal and Holstentor. It was an excellent hotel. The room was incredible. The bathroom was spacious. It was certainly a romantic setting. We would stay here again. Lübeck is a beautiful city that is well worth the visit. more

For 6 Euro/night the hotel provides a card which enables access to a commercial carpark some 15 minutes walk from the hotel. We stayed for a weekend, the "Champagne Träume" package. It was cosy and clean. Old historic building, nicely renovated. Good and friendly service and well prepared typical German food. Beautiful location, with many rooms facing the Obertrave river and the famous Holstentor. Spacious, clean rooms, everything works, the breakfast is nice, the concierge service helpful. Inexpensive. We would not stay anywhere else in Lübeck. A wonderful, uncomplicated experience! more

This hotel is a classic little German hotel. Everything was clean and spotless (but a small room) and the restaurant had excellent German food. The location could not be more convenient for a tourist: Midway between the train station and the town's heart (a 5 minute walk from each). Friendly people who speak English. more
