Friendly family run hotel. Very clean rooms that are just big enough. The rooms on the front side have a nice view over the sea and the small ship wharf in front of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet is excellent, with a large choice of cold and warm items. Overall the hotel offers good value.

This hotel is now called Hotel Kieler Förde. The Tourist Information Center in the Kiel Hbf recommended it when I was asking for a reasonably priced hotel near a beach. I thought the price was fair, but the beach access was somewhat disappointing.
