An older hotel just meters from the danish border. Rooms were bigger than we anticipated which was very nice. Good beds, bathrooms. Wow. I have visited this Hotel in many occations, and I must say the standard has grown dramatically. Super service, super atmosphere, super food, and Best of all...super swimmingpool. Hotel des Nordens is a funny one, the room are well equiped and large but are a bit old. The Spa and heated outdoor pool has been super nice after a long day at work (it closes at 10pm). On our biketrip from Ringkøbing to Paris we stayed in this Hotel. The Hotel and rooms are nice, and very clan. The food was insufficient and very poor, the service in the dining room was very bad, and there was not enought staff. I can not recommend eating at this hotel.

Poor information at arrival. We only got directions for the room and to the breakfast restaurant. No information at the room either. Room: Furniture battered. Old TV. Many TV-channels not available. Nice breakfast and nice facilities- swimming. The balcony was a plus. Aso close to a Fleegaard. Close to the beach.
