I stayed there for a weekend and I really enjoyed the experience. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff was nice and helpful (even tough the lady at the breakfast didn't speak English at all).
The only, tiny default would be the location, not quite at the city center, but it was calm and Dusseldorf is not a big city...

The rooms are functional, and had better wi-fi internet access than some newer properties.
Some refurbishing of rooms could be done, with an upgrade to bed types. Bring your own toiletries, since hand and bath soap are both wall-mounted pump type.
