I stayed at the Nikko because it is our prefered hotel when visiting our office in Dusseldorf. Our office is just around the corner. This hotel is great for it's location. The main train station is a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is nice. It caters to Japanese and since I work for a Japanese company this works out... More

This hotel is a short walk away from the central station. Next to it are a lot of good asian restaurants, but there isn't much else. The hotel lobby is quite nice and breakfast is good. With a fair selection of both european and asian dishes, as well as a made to order omelette and pancake bar. Half of the... More

We stayed in this hotel for one week on a business trip and booked the hotel particularly for its location and also for the fact that it had a pool and a spa. Imagine the annoyance that hidden in the small print was the fact that the pool was not free to use unless one upgraded from a standard room!... More

Nikko hotel was great for walking distance to old town. It was a clean hotel, the pillows were awful, it was not plush, but for the money, worth it. The music in the bar area was too techno-futuristic for us, so we didn't spend much time down there, and obviously other patrons felt the same as there were never more... More

I was booked into the Nikko for two nights and clearly the affordable rates are an indicator that the property is struggling against a number of newer properties in much more attractive areas of Duesseldorf. The Nikko is close to the train station however and still seems to be the go-to hotel for the Japanese business community. Rooms are on... More

I have great respect for Nikko hotels and have come to expect a high level of service and accommodation. This property needs help and I would take the name off until it improves. The building itself is rambling and confusing and looking a little down and out. My first room had a strong odor which belied the fact that the... More

Having gone through an extensive renovation, the Nikko Dusseldorf is now a truly excellent hotel. Stayed with a group of colleagues and we were all very happy with our rooms and amenities. The decor is beautiful, rooms were large and comfortable, bathrooms excellent, bath products from Molton Brown fantastic, staff friendly but unobtrusive. Would definitely go back there. Location, service... More

first off, the staff were incredibly nice, helpful and respectful. but no amount of niceness makes up for the view from our room... which can only be described as a concrete bunker/stand for a WW2 howlitzer. or possibly a massive septic tank? (see photo) the decor of the room was a walnut nightmare, and despite our pleas, we were refused... More

Location was nice, the room, bathroom are big and modern, we had a nice view from the 7th floor. Personel was helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the noise from the heat. More
