Yes, this hotel is just plain average. Average accommodations, average service, average everything. But what more do you need? Its average enough of a hotel to sleep, shave, shower without any hassles. It's all your going to need if in Cologne for a couple of days to enjoy the wonderful cuisine, culture, shopping and dive into the cities Roman history... More

The two best things about this hotel are the location and the price. If you are after luxury and elegance this place is not for you. But if you are visiting Cologne and want somewhere clean, spacious in a perfect location in between the Dom and Rhine embankment and the neumarket, then this place is for you! We went for... More

Europäischer Hof am Dom has not bad location - from 10 minutes walking from Dom. Room are ordinary, enough spacious and clean, but old and with thin walls (it is easy to listen your neighbours) There is not internet, not parking. This place seems me normal for staying, but nothing specials and unusual. Every thing are ordinary there. And I... More

How do you improve the profitability of your hotel at next-to-minimal effort and expense? It's as easy as cramming a double bed into as many of your single rooms as is physically possible, then charging for the privilege! This was exactly the feel of our 9ft x 10ft (2.7m x 3m) room at the Hotel Europäischer Hof am Dom. The... More

We located the hotel through the Tourist Information Office right by the Dom. The room was spacious and clean and our window had a partial view of the Dom. The parking garage was anyone's worst nightmare. The drive area was so narrow that an Audi A4 barely could make the turns. The parking spaces were barely wide enough to accomodate... More

The best thing about the hotel is its location - 500m from the Cologne main train station & the Dom (it's a walk of 7min). It is NOTHING fancy - its actually very basic. But the rooms are clean - so are the bathrooms / towels etc. The furniture is quite old (from the 70s or so) and basic, but... More

My first hotel in Germany and it was better than what i expected for the price i got. Booked it from booking.com for 48 euros a night per double with no breakfast. Arrived at 11pm at night and it was a short 7 mins walk from the hauptbahnhof. The staff were friendly. The rooms and toilets were slightly small but... More

We paid EUR48,50 for a double room for a hotel room near the dom, which is to my opinion quite cheap. The rooms were a bit worn but clean and the staff is very nice. There is no possibility to have breakfast. Parking is available at EUR15 per day. More
