No major change from the previous reviews. The hotel is primarily a business hotel with cheaper weekend rates. Hotel has its own garage(extra charge) and there is street parking around the area. Would recommend the Knippschild restaurant across the street good food and the kitchen stays open late.

I have stayed at many hotels in Germany and other places in Europe and this is probably the best. Small (maybe 30-35 rooms), great breakfast, friendly and super staff, and excellent owner. Very quiet. A must stay out of the main stream of the downtown area of Koln. Easy access to anywhere via S-bahn or Tram.
