Was here for business 4 times this month, has been a pleasant experience everytime. Hotel is in a quiet spot, great for relaxing. Good breakfast available every morning. Only downside was staying there on a Monday, in the evening the restaurant next door is closed and you have to go into Bochum to get dinner. More

The hotel is located far outside the city center and almost in the forest. There is a huge parking area a few steps from the entrance. It is usually free although their web site says differently. The smart decor and furnishings in the rooms makes the most of the limited space. The beds and bathroom are more than adequate. I stayed here in Oct 2007 as part of a group attending a meeting. The rooms were modest-sized, but the ambience was cold and uninviting.
