Six of us flew to Hannover (from Southampton) for the Christmas Markets, specifically to visit Hamelin. In actual fact, we preferred the markets in Hannover - lots of stalls, beautifully decorated and plenty of variety. My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Martins for 20 nights in September/October 2005. Room - Clean and Neat, Spacious, Bright. No tub, shower only. Mini bar. Big Windows, lots of sun.
