Been staying here a number of times due to exhibition.
The best thing about this place is its location. The rooms are clean and have a conference facility feel. The walls are paper thin. I stayed here a week as did the guy next door and I heard him snoring every night.

Stayed in this hotel for one night. The located is about 10 mins by car from the citycenter.. but there is a tramstop near the hotel.
The room has a IBIS style feel to it.. the furniture had a minimalistic approach but it was all very clean and despite the fact the room wasn't very big it was comfortable.

The Wienecke XI hotel is conveniently located to go to the Hannover Messe (a short, 5 min, walk to the tram stop and another 5 mins by tram to the expo area), but a little too far from the city center (10-15 mins by tram or approx. one-and-a-half hours walking). Hotel location is convenient for the trade fair. 10 min walk to the tram stop, which takes you directly to Hanover Messe.
Wi-fi connection is not included in the price, which was pretty steep during the week of the Hanover Messe.
Rooms are too small.
Breakfast spread is pretty good.
